Our Story
Youth Leadership Development Program (YLDP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New Jersey, founded in 2013 to help children discover their voice, build confidence, and lead with purpose. We believe leadership isn’t defined by age — it’s about initiative, empathy, and the courage to make a difference.
What began with just 20 students has grown into a vibrant program serving youth in grades 4–12. Through public speaking, leadership training, and community engagement, YLDP empowers the next generation of confident, compassionate leaders. With support from parents, schools, and student-led initiatives, we continue to build stronger communities — one young leader at a time.
